The Full Circle of Life Horse Shelter philosophy was developed in 2019. Founders of Horse Plus Humane Society, Jason and Tawnee Preisner, headed out to mentor other organizations to see if what worked at Horse Plus Humane Society would work for other organizations. The whole process was filmed in a TV series called Horse Shelter Heroes. Since 2019 the Full Circle of Life Horse Shelter philosophy has flourished and organizations across the United States are adopting this philosophy.
